Welcome to Diana Gentry's Rocketpedia Profile Page

I arrived at Stanford in 2001 thinking I'd be a biology major, but switched to mechanical engineering after discovering an latent practical bent. After a post-graduation internship at NASA Ames working on a free-flying satellite for automated biological experiments, I returned to Stanford for graduate school and joined the Telerobotics Lab. After research in controls, haptics and the effect of virtual environments on humans, I switched projects to work with Lynn Rothschild on instrumentation design for high-altitude air capture to explore the vertical profile of the biosphere, thus completing the circle back to my biology roots. I have also worked in student tech support for almost six years, four as a joint leader of the Stanford Residential Computer Consultant program.

Rocketpedia Administration

I am also one of the admins of this wiki. Please leave a comment on my talk page if you need general wiki administrator assistance (editing or organizing pages). For higher-level questions (granting permissions, server errors, etc.) please talk to our sysadmin Eric Caplain.

I have created a sandbox page you can experiment with if you don't feel comfortable making changes directly to the main wiki space.
